DCAFS Talk-In Clinic: Your Main Door to Mental Health Services

December 4 @ 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Talk-In Clinic is your primary gateway to essential mental health support for children, youth, and families.

Our Talk-In Clinic is designed to help you address your concerns by connecting you with trained clinicians who can guide you through your next steps. Whether you require just one session or need of additional services, we are here to support you and your family through the entire process. Our single-session walk-in counselling is specifically tailored for children and youth, providing immediate mental health assistance.

The Talk-In Clinic offers a variety of key benefits, including quick access to trained counsellors, immediate problem-solving, and therapeutic conversations that can help clarify your situation. Additionally, we provide valuable information, education, and support and can connect you to other services offered within DCAFS and in the wider Dufferin community.

Our Talk-In Clinic is open to everyone in your family, specifically including children and youth aged 0-18 years, as well as parents and caregivers. We address a broad range of issues, from new or recent problems to long-standing difficulties. Our services encompass individual and family counselling, educational support groups, and specialized treatment for issues.

Our services are voluntary, confidential, and completely free of charge.

We invite you to drop in and visit our Talk-In Clinic and take the first important step towards improved mental health and well-being for your loved ones!

Talk-in Clinic is not an emergency or crisis service. If this is a mental health crisis or if you have concerns that a child or youth is at risk of harm, please call DCAFS directly at 519-941-1530 or call 911.
