On June 11, 2026, we came together for our second-ever Fore DCAFS – 2026 Golf Classic, and what a great day it was. Sponsors, golfers, and volunteers all came together for a shared purpose and lots of fun!
We were so grateful the weather cooperated this year – the beautiful sunshine helped warm our spirits throughout the day! Smiles, laughs, and meaningful moments were shared.
One team, dressed in yellow, travelled from various locations across southern Ontario to honour a dear friend through the game they loved, supporting a cause that was close to her heart. Other teams chose to join the day because of a personal connection to the work we do, and others because of the desire to support people to achieve their goals and contribute meaningfully to the future of our community. Regardless of your why, thank you so much to each golfer for choosing to be with us!
There were so many highlights! Cheers and a bit of chiding could be heard with every swing at the hole-in-one and putting contests. Across the course, teams shared great conversations, good golf shots, fantastic food and great prizes! Our amazing volunteers greeted everyone with warmth and energy and kept the day moving seamlessly!
