We are excited to announce the launch of Live Life Well: Our Healthy Habits Hub, specifically designed for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Our program is all about empowerment, as we guide participants on a journey towards healthier living. Through engaging sessions filled with strength and conditioning exercises, participants will not only develop essential physical skills but will also enjoy every moment of their fitness adventure. Moreover, our curriculum goes beyond just exercise; it emphasizes the impact of nutritious eating! Participants will dive into the world of balanced diets, discovering how delicious meals can fuel their active lifestyles. With expert guidance and a supportive environment, we’re here to help them unleash their inner champions, boosting both their physical health and overall well-being.

Length: 6 weeks
A key component of this program is goal setting. Each learner will have the opportunity to establish short-term goals, which they can monitor and achieve over time. This process not only helps in enhancing their understanding of themselves but also significantly boosts their confidence.
This advanced learners’ group will accommodate 4-7 participants, all aged 13 and above, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive environment.
Once learners have practiced the skills, they are encouraged to apply them in real-world settings. During these opportunities, coaching and prompting are available to help them achieve mastery. Immediate feedback and reinforcement are critical components of this approach, allowing us to effectively target behaviors for enhancement or modification.
Over time, the reinforcement schedule will gradually be adjusted to mirror the natural reinforcement available in everyday environments, fostering independence and sustainability in skill application.
Additionally, through the six week period, each learner will receive a workbook filled with homework tasks designed to reinforce the skills learned each week.
This not only empowers learners by giving them autonomy over their mindfulness and fitness choices but also instills a sense of accountability for their actions and decisions.
