The purpose of the Dufferin Wellington Guelph FASD Action Group is to establish a network of professionals and caregivers dedicated to increasing capacity, understanding, and awareness of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) across the Dufferin, Wellington, and Guelph regions. By fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration, the group aims to develop and enhance supports and services for individuals and families affected by FASD.

The group also works in partnership with other organizations to advocate for better understanding, improved services, and increased funding. Additionally, the group facilitates community and professional education, supports funding applications, and oversees the effective use of grant and conference revenues. The committee meets on a monthly basis, primarily virtually with occasional in-person meetings.
