Our single-session walk-in counselling is specifically tailored for children and youth\, providing immediate mental health assistance. \nThe Talk-In Clinic offers a variety of key benefits\, including quick access to trained counsellors\, immediate problem-solving\, and therapeutic conversations that can help clarify your situation. Additionally\, we provide valuable information\, education\, and support and can connect you to other services offered within DCAFS and in the wider Dufferin community. \nOur Talk-In Clinic is open to everyone in your family\, specifically including children and youth aged 0-18 years\, as well as parents and caregivers. We address a broad range of issues\, from new or recent problems to long-standing difficulties. Our goal is to support caregivers and families so that they have the strength and energy to continue to be active care providers for their loved ones. \n\nSaturday Respite is tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. We offer a range of on-site activities and support\, including relationship building\, learning objectives\, play\, skill building\, and more! At DCAFS\, we believe that regular respite care can help families in many ways. It can reduce stress\, help families feel less isolated\, increase their involvement in community life\, and provides additional time for your personal life. \nWe also ensure that respite care benefits the person being supported. Regular respite can help children and youth with complex needs develop relationships outside their families and increase their independence. \nEqually as important\, Saturday Respite is designed to provide an environment for fun! DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce Saturday Respite at DCAFS!\nOur respite program is designed to provide a flexible\, short-term break from caregiving for families\, allowing for rest and renewal. Our goal is to support caregivers and families so that they have the strength and energy to continue to be active care providers for their loved ones. \n\nSaturday Respite is tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. We offer a range of on-site activities and support\, including relationship building\, learning objectives\, play\, skill building\, and more! At DCAFS\, we believe that regular respite care can help families in many ways. It can reduce stress\, help families feel less isolated\, increase their involvement in community life\, and provides additional time for your personal life. \nWe also ensure that respite care benefits the person being supported. Regular respite can help children and youth with complex needs develop relationships outside their families and increase their independence. \nEqually as important\, Saturday Respite is designed to provide an environment for fun! Our dedicated and trained Respite Team lead education periods\, physical fitness activities\, games\, lunch\, and our featured “Theme Days” with holiday-specific activities. \nJoin us for Saturday Respite at DCAFS! We provide a warm\, friendly\, and supportive environment for families. Whether you require just one session or need of additional services\, we are here to support you and your family through the entire process. Our single-session walk-in counselling is specifically tailored for children and youth\, providing immediate mental health assistance. \nThe Talk-In Clinic offers a variety of key benefits\, including quick access to trained counsellors\, immediate problem-solving\, and therapeutic conversations that can help clarify your situation. Additionally\, we provide valuable information\, education\, and support and can connect you to other services offered within DCAFS and in the wider Dufferin community. \nOur Talk-In Clinic is open to everyone in your family\, specifically including children and youth aged 0-18 years\, as well as parents and caregivers. We address a broad range of issues\, from new or recent problems to long-standing difficulties. Our services encompass individual and family counselling\, educational support groups\, and specialized treatment for issues. \nOur services are voluntary\, confidential\, and completely free of charge.\nWe invite you to drop in and visit our Talk-In Clinic and take the first important step towards improved mental health and well-being for your loved ones! \nTalk-in Clinic is not an emergency or crisis service.
