Naturalistic Developmental Behavioural Intervention (NDBI)

Certified Early Intervention Providers deliver the Early Social Interaction/Social Communication Emotional Regulation and Transactional Supports (ESI/SCERTS) early intervention model. This is an evidence-based parent mediated intervention which combines a developmental perspective with an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) framework. It was developed by Dr. Amy Wetherby, Distinguished Research Professor at Florida State University, College of Medicine. Our clinician received comprehensive training from Dr. Wetherby and her staff.

Parents are supported in their home environment to develop their children’s social communication skills within everyday activities and typical social activities, with additional skills and coaching provided through a weekly webinar.
