Based on the list provided by the Provincial Government DCAFS is an essential service.
WE ARE STILL OPEN, in the modified way as outlined below.
Out of an abundance of concern for our community and our staff, DCAFS has implemented service delivery changes in order to be proactive and do our part to help address COVID-19. We know that times such as these can be anxiety provoking and can leave those most vulnerable feeling alone. We will continue to be here for you. In alignment with recommendations from public health authorities, we will abide by social distancing recommendations and provide most of our service by phone or through the internet. We are in the process of connecting with service recipients to plan together accordingly. At this time, we would ask that unscheduled visitors do not attend our office as we are limiting our in-person service delivery. Please feel very welcome to call us 519-941-1530 if you could benefit from support or if you have concerns for the well-being of a child/youth – we continue to care for and respond to our community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time of extraordinary measures
